About Us

Bestselling Author April Cox was born and raised in Tampa Florida On the 22nd day of April 1981 where she currently resides as a single mother with her son. April is the youngest of 8 siblings between her mother and father. She is dedicated to helping others and determined to get all that GOD has promised her out of life. She says, No matter the fight, victory is already won. 

 April has always been a Go-Getter; it was proven when she left her mother's home at six-teen and moved to another state where she became a certified carpenter and later a nurse' assistant. During her time in school, April met her son's father and her life had changed. To keep it short, she had more down's than up's in the relationship. Thanks to reading nearly every urban book on the shelf, she was able to disassociate herself from the abnormal relationship she loved.  

When asked, why does she write, she replies,  'To entertain, inspire and encourage through testimonies and of course pay bills.  

April began writing after being told by one of her favorite authors turned best friend that she was talented. Being in the financial bind that she was in at that time, she could use her talent to make money. Good money. Not long afterward, she was able to leave her job and become a full time Author and Publisher. 

 All along, she knew that she had the gift of story-telling. However, after being in an abusive relationship for several years and being told she was dumb, because of her struggle with writing and spelling, she didn't have the courage. Even after she went back to school to obtain her diploma and later attending college. April always had doubts about being good enough to become a writer. But, God... One of her favorite quotes: "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me."

April wrote her first Best-Selling series: Double Dose and the raving reviews she received inspired her to write her next best-seller and recently In 2017 her story time stage play: Stuck on Stupid. 

But it doesn't stop there, April is to dedicated to serving the Lord. She's the founder of Mother and Son Deliverance praise and a member of Majestic adult Praise Dance. At Heaven Destiny under the leadership of Pastor Tom and Willie Mae Jones. April is also the Founder of Abundance of Love, a company she created to assist the world with celebrating/reflections for their loved ones while they are still alive.  Currently April ventured off into the health and wellness field. She is now a distributor for the company Total Life Changes.

Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all thy heart, lean not to your own understanding,

in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
